Choosing the Right Car Seat For Your Baby
The law requires nationwide in all fifty states that a child be restrained in a car seat in the back seat. An infant up to 20 pounds must be in a rear facing seat. You can put your child in a convertible seat up until the age of 1 years old as long as comfort is provided. A child riding facing the rear in a car seat is less likely to have a sever spinal injury in the event of a collision.
