Preschool Wacky Walk and Obstacle Course
Going for a walk with a preschool-age child can always be an adventure. Noticing birds, butterflies, rabbits, ants and other creatures helps children become aware of details in the world around them, and some discoveries can extend the fun. If you find a weed that looks like a paintbrush, pick it, take it home and paint a picture with it. If you find long needles from a pine tree, take them home and poke them into a half round Styrofoam ball to make a porcupine! Create a simple obstacle course in your own backyard to make ordinary objects fun for a whole group of preschoolers.
